c. What can a person do when his love to Christ grows weak?
I. ADDRESS THE SINS OF APATHY AND INDIFFERENCE – Revelation 2:4,5:
A. Remember From Where You Have Fallen – Revelation 2:5; Luke 15:17:
1. Acknowledge your sin (apathy and neglect) – James. 4:17; . Psalm 51:3,4.
2. Remember God’s grace and mercy in your life! – Galatians 5:4; Romans
12:1,2
3. Let God’s word convict you – . II Kings 22:11-13; Acts 2:37
B. Repent of Your Sins – Revelation 2:5; Revelation 3:19:
1. Godly sorrow for your sin – II Corinthians 7:9;10. -A broken and contrite

2. Change your mind toward sins of apathy/indifference – Romans 2:5.

II. THINGS YOU CAN DO TO OVERCOME APATHY – Ephesians 5:14:
A. Renew Godly Priorities in Your Life – Matthew 6:33:.
1. The seriousness of living a faithful life – Matthew 22:5
2. Devotion to Christ: Your time, values, energy, your all - Galatians 2:20
B. Put Your Faith in the Lord, Not in Yourself – James 4:13-17:
1. Apathy produces self-reliant, self-sufficient, arrogant view of life.
2. Remember Jesus – Hebrews 12:3.
3. Rely on the Lord – I Peter 5:6,7. How? – II Corinthians 12:8-10
C. Renounce Sin in Your Life – II Corinthians 4:1,2:
1. Continued presence of sin in one’s life causes apathy – Matthew 24:12.
2. Cast off sin and put on Christ – Romans 13:11-14; Ephesians 4:20-24
3. Remove stumbling blocks which hinder faithfulness – Matthew 5:27-30.

An Inside Job
Introduction:
a. The term inside job colloquially refers to a crime, usually larceny or
embezzlement, committed by a person with a position of trust who is
authorized to access a location or procedure with little or no supervision,
e.g., a key employee or manager. The perpetrator can also be a former
employee who still has specialized knowledge necessary to ensure the optimum
result of committing the crime.
b. Our “inside Job” is a good thing
I. in Christ a new creation –IICorinthians 5:17:
a. Baptized INTO CHRIST– Galatians 3:27
b. Must abide in Christ – I John 1:7; Romans 8:1
c. Freedom in Christ – GALATIANS 5:1
II. In the Know – John 8: 30-32:
a. In fellowship – Philippians 1:5; Jude 3
b. In Touch With the needs of the lost – I Peter 3:15; Acts 8:30
c. In The Mind of Christ – Philippians 2:5-12
III. In the Church – Ephesians 3:10:
a. Christ in you, the hope of glory – Colossians 1:27
b. Continue in the Apostles’ doctrine – Acts 2:42-47
c. In the church remain – Hebrews 10:24-39
Conclusion:
